'Punctuality'

Punctuality means promptness, the habit of being on time. It is a great virtue. A punctual man is strictly observant of the appointed time. He always attends to his duties and does not waste time in vain. Hemakes proper use of time and hence shines in life. Prosperity in life fully depends on punctuality. There is a saying in English, "A stich in time saves nine."

An Idle man can never be punctual. He always complains that he has not enough time to do his work. He can never rise in the world, rather he will meet with failure everywhere.

The value of punctuality cannot be expressed in words. It is immense. The habit of punctuality should be formed from the very beginning of one's life. A man having no sense of punctuality can do nothing for himself or for society. On the contrary, he leads a very miserable life. It is said that Napoleon, the greatest warrior the world has ever produced, lost the battle of Waterloo owing to the lack of punctuality of one of his generals who came with an army when it was too late.

Punctuality is very necessary in every sphere of life. So we should cultivate it from a very early age, if we wish to succeed in life.
